Taylee Update
Well that scary night got worse. After we got home from the ER, she did not really improve. The ER doc said she should be herself during the day, and then we might have another scary night. Well around 2:30 I had my neighbor Kym come over and look at Taylee, she thought I needed to take her into the Doctor. So I got her an appointment for 3:45 and they did a couple more breathing treatments and sent us home. Well a couple hours later she was getting even worse. So I was going to take her back to the Doctor, but they told me I needed to go admit her into the hospital. So now it is 7:30 pm and I start making plans to get us to the hospital. My mom got in the car to come up and my sister in law Heather came over until my mother in law could get over and wait for my mom. Heather had her husband come, and along with my neighbor, they gave her a blessing. Heather, bless her heart, came with me to the hospital and they immediatley gave her a breathing treatment that did not go well. By the time we got to the hospital her lips were blue and she was so pale. It took 5 of us to told Taylee down to get her to breathe in the treatment. The whole time she was screaming to get off her. It was probably the worst experience I have had, at least in a while. Then she had some xrays and then she needed another breathing treatment which went so much better. She sat up and held the mask on herself. That was the last treatment she had to have. The xrays showed that it was a severe case of croup and she will have to be watched carefully from now on with any respiratory illness. But she was able to get some sleep that night and we hung out the next day. We almost had to have another breathing treatment, which would have made us stay another night, but they gave her some more oral steroids and that eased her attack. She would like to go back, because they catered to her every need. When she gets better she is going to have a hard time adjusting! If it wasn't for my Mom, Heather, and Kym, I seriously could not have made it through. I was supposed to have a candle party last night, but Kym moved it to her house so I didn't have to call and explain to all those I invited. Which was huge, since she doesn't like to have parties! Her and Heather also showed up with delicious dinners. I was taken care of very well and I hope that someday I will be able to help someone like they all helped me. I just feel so grateful for all the help I recieved. It is hard to except help sometimes, but i appreciate so much.

Scary Night!
So last night, or shall I say this morning was little scary. I feel like I handled my self quite well considering I am extremely emotional right now! Taylee's voice was a little horse before she went to bed, but she hasn't been sick or even any sign of a cold. Jared had to fly to Myrtle Beach last night (plane left at 12:00am, nice, huh?) so I stayed awake until he called to tell me they were taking off. Right after, Taylee came in my rooming crying and gasping for air. So I got her some water, got the humidfier going, and tried to get her to breathe a little better. That wasn't helping so at 1:30 am we bundled up and went and sat out on the front porch. That helped her breathe until we were so frozen we had to come in. So then I steamed up the bathroom and we hung out in there for awhile. That seemed to help and she was able to sleep for about 30 min. Then she woke up and her breathing was really bad. I tried the shower thing again, but she was crying and her little chest was sinking in with every breath she took. I started to get scared at this point. So at 4:30 am, Taylee and I headed for the emergency room, where she had a couple of breathing treatments and some steroids. They think she has croop. She is doing a little better today, but her breathing is still strained, they said it will get worse again tonight. If so we are just supposed to come on up to the emergency room again. I sure wish Jared was home for this. It was just so scary because she went to bed fine and woke up gasping for air. Hopefully she will be fine tonight. If you drive by in the middle of the night and see us hanging out outside, don't be to alarmed!
