I know everyone is dying to know how Jared's thumb and elbow are. So here is a little update. The surgery went really well, they didn't have to fuse his thumb or use bone marrow from his hip. The doctor was very surprised that there was not more damage. So Jared is very lucky. He goes in this week to get the pins taken out and get a cast on, which will be on for 4 weeks. He should be all better in time for the baby to come! Thanks for all the yummy treats people brought us! I enjoyed them just as much as Jared did!

I am totally tryin not to laugh at the sight of Jared in a gown! I am sure glad is wasn't more serious though. What the heck is this about bone marrow from the hip? We should start calling him David Beckham

I am so glad that he didn't have to have bone marrow taken from his hip. I don't know anyone that has had it done but it sounds painful. I am glad that the surgery went well. Just like Kerra I was having a few laughs at Jared in his hospital gown.
Poor Jared!! Really poor you, cause I'm sure Jared has been milking this injury for all it's worth! Glad everything went well with the suregery. And hope everything's going okay for you guys.

I really hope he learned a lesson this time, but I know he didnt.. I cant know why he cant just accept the fact that he is getting older, and so is are his bones:)
Im still sorry I missed all that action. I really could have been of SOME help during all that craziness. Ill plan our vacation a little better next time.
P.S. Im with Melissa on the poor you. Tell him the milkin is over..
