Random Thoughts

First of all, Taylee is a tornado. I can not believe the messes she makes. I will be cleaning the bathrooms and walk into the living room and she has the whole room turned into a store. The whole pantry will be on the book shelf and I swear every toy we own is lined up ready to be sold. I guess I should just put a sign in the front yard saying there is a "sale" going on inside. If it wasn't so cute I would want to ring her neck! She also has grocery sacks packed with a change of underwear, pjs, and a outfit. She hids them around the house, so whenever a grandma calls for her to come over, she grabs a bag and is ready to go. It is starting to get annoying because I have to put all her clothes away again and again. So grandmas or grandpas, Taylee is ready to go to your house so PLEASE take her!
On another note, I have been trying to go to the temple every week. So this week will only be the 3rd week, but still it is more than I have been in a really long time. It is really nice being able to feel the spirit you feel in the temple every week. I really need to go once a day to have that, but not very likely being a mom! It keeps in perspective what is really important in life. There are certain things that you think will never happen to you, and when they do, and you realize there is no way you can get through it on your own, you have to turn to the Lord. I am grateful that we can do that and I hope that it won't take bad things happening to me to make me do that in the future.
Also, Jared is a walking accident! He has to have surgery tomorrow on his thumb. He broke it a few weeks ago playing indoor soccer. And then in a double header that same night, he tore ligaments in his elbow. So thumb on right side, elbow on left. The thumb surgery is quite extensive considering it's a thumb. I think he should just cut it off! It is broke through his knuckle. So they have to rebreak it, put in wires and screws, possibly take bone marrow from his hip and use it to fill in his thumb, and then cast it. The surgery might not even work, so then they will go back in and fuse his thumb. So he won't ever be able to bend it. Then the next day he starts rehab on his elbow. You just have to laugh and think what else can happen! What doesn't kill us will only make us stronger right? And things always get worse before they get better. I think that is how those sayings go!

Yes, that's how the sayings go...my favorite..if you can laugh at it you can live through it. Chin up, it's always darkest before it's light. (another fine saying!)

That is a lot of crap they have to do to a little thumb! And I love what your little Taylee does. She sounds like my Tylie! Ty is my total handful child! Congrats on a baby girl. And once again, you are so on top of it and already have your page scrapped! What a woman.

PS, I am so jealous that you are trying to go to the Temple once a week. I so need that in my life to have a better attitude with everything! Good for you!

Once a week? WOW! That's one of the best goals I've heard in awhile. Good luck!

I just wanted to tell you, that is the stinking cutest thing ever about Taylee. I would have to agree with you, if it wasn't so cute I would be upset also. I think that you should get the sign up and let her start selling!!!!
